On the third Saturday of every month, St. Paul’s UMC, in tandem with the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger group, host a food distribution to help needy families supplement their groceries. We serve anywhere from 150 to 200 each month!
Volunteers are always needed to help unload food from the delivery trucks, stock the pantry shelves, bag the groceries for the families and distribute those bags to the community. Many of the families that we serve only speak Spanish, so fluent Spanish speakers that can help with filling out paperwork would be extra appreciated.
Our food supplies are purchased with donations from our church family. If you would like to help with a gift of money, every little bit helps and can feed multiple families. Please make sure to designate The Food Pantry when making your donation.
