2 Corinthians 5:18 The façade of the St Paul’s United Methodist Church sanctuary represents the congregation on mission in today’s world. The human figure represents those who feel separated, alone, lost and wandering aimlessly through life. The dark maze without an exit traps the figure in their despair. The rays of light shining from the doors of the church convey our congregations’ confidence that through community, people will find hope, love and meaning. In 1956 a group of individuals, inspired by God’s power in their lives, established St. Paul’s in what was then southeast El Paso. To meet the growing needs of the area, the facilities were expanded, and multiple ministries and mission outreach efforts were established. Together we hear the gospel, the only effective balm that can heal the human soul. We testify that Christ offers a limitless and unfailing love for every individual.
